Hello, I'm Roxanna!

A UX/UI designer born and raised in Los Angeles, California with a background in art, customer experience, and robotics. I've always been interested in crafting visually appealing designs and solutions that not only solve problems but also explore possibilities and improve overall user experiences.

In 2013, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Animation. I learned about all aspects of the industry ranging from animation (both 2D & 3D), digital painting, 3D modeling, the production process (pre-, production & post-), and so much more.

In the years following, I worked various roles in animation, customer service, management, and software. With an eclectic mix of work experience I’m able to view products with an eye for design and place user needs at the forefront.

Like many around the world, my work was disrupted due to the pandemic in 2020. During that time I was able to reflect on my goals which eventually led me to UX design. I thrive on creativity and analysis, so I felt that it struck the perfect balance.

In 2022, I was offered the incredible opportunity to work as a UX/UI designer for a robotics company. What started as a UX/UI role slowly turned into a product designer role where I became more hands-on with not only designing robotic systems, but also the website, a joystick controller, user guides, and other design related decisions.

As an INFJ — a.k.a. "The Advocate" — wanting to help others always came naturally. I approach all situations with deep thought while staying authentic and true to my values. With anything I work on, I strive to make a meaningful impact, leave a lasting impression, and advocate for the user. 

 

With that said, I am eager to work in industries I am passionate about — such as technology, aerospace, robotics, and video games.

 🎨 Artist: In my spare time you’ll find me painting both digitally and traditionally.

 🤓 Geek: I geek out over all things geeky — comics, video games, and anime (especially Cowboy Bebop)!

 🌌 Space Enthusiast: I’m always in awe over the advancements made in space exploration and enjoy occasional stargazing trips.

 🍕 Food Lover: I’ll never turn down the opportunity to eat or drink something delicious.
